Risk Controller
Role Overview
The Risk Controller supports the business by conducting process audits and assessing risk across operations. This role is part of the Hungry Lion Zambia HQ team and involves regular local travel. The position reports to management and ensures risk controls are evaluated and maintained effectively.
Duties / Responsibilities
Risk Assessment
• Perform regular audits across business processes as directed by management
• Identify, assess, and report on operational risks
• Recommend actions to reduce or eliminate identified risks
• Prepare and submit accurate risk control reports

Relationship Management
• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the business

Administration & Support
• Ensure administrative tasks meet internal standards and deadlines
• Organize and maintain records and documentation in line with compliance and confidentiality standards

Personal Effectiveness
• Manage time and workload independently to ensure timely, high-quality output
• Demonstrate initiative and accountability in service delivery
• Continuously develop skills to add value to the role and team

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification in Risk Management, Business, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or retail environments
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (G-Suite)
• Valid driver’s license (preferred due to travel requirements)
