Overview
Zamtel is seeking a dynamic FTTH Product Specialist to drive the rollout and commercial success of its Fibre to the Home services. This role is pivotal in ensuring service quality, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth by monitoring product performance, coordinating deployment activities, and optimising offerings to meet market demand. The position requires a professional who can bridge technical expertise with customer centric delivery, ensuring Zamtel remains competitive in the broadband space.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee FTTH product rollout and ensure smooth deployment across targeted areas.
• Monitor service performance and customer experience, translating technical metrics into actionable improvements.
• Coordinate cross functional teams and stakeholders to align deployment schedules and service delivery.
• Optimise FTTH products to enhance uptake, drive revenue growth, and maintain high service standards.
• Provide insights and reporting to support strategic decision making and continuous product improvement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline.
• Professional Registration: Membership with EIZ or equivalent professional body.
• Experience: 3–5 years in FTTH, fixed broadband, or telecom service delivery.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical and reporting abilities, with proven capacity to interpret performance data and recommend solutions.
• Soft Skills: Effective coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills to ensure collaboration across teams and with customers.
