Overview
The Area Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales performance and expanding market presence for Zamtel mobile products and services. This role focuses on achieving set targets through effective dealer management, trade engagement, and customer mobilization. It requires a proactive individual with strong commercial awareness and the ability to build lasting relationships that support business growth.
Main Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned targets.
• Manage dealer networks and trade partners to ensure consistent product availability and service quality.
• Mobilize sales activities across designated areas, identifying opportunities to grow market share.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve sales effectiveness.
• Engage with stakeholders to strengthen brand visibility and customer loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with company standards while maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Diploma in Sales, Marketing, IT, or a related business field.
• Professional registration with ZIM or another recognized body.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably within telecom or FMCG sectors.
• Strong skills in sales mobilization, dealer management, and trade management.
• Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
• Results driven mindset with proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver on targets.
• Solid organizational and problem solving skills, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
