Overview
The Private Banking Head leads the strategic development and delivery of value propositions tailored to affluent clients. This role is pivotal in shaping client journeys, driving commercial outcomes, and integrating digital and platform-based solutions across personal and private banking. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the incumbent ensures that the segment’s offerings are scalable, relevant, and aligned with evolving client expectations.
Main Responsibilities
• Champion the design and execution of affluent client strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across segments, digital, engineering, and client solutions to embed and scale client engagement platforms.
• Drive commercialisation of segment offerings through data-driven insights, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead change initiatives that enhance client experience, operational efficiency, and digital integration.
• Foster a culture of empowerment, strategic thinking, and high performance within the segment team.
• Monitor and manage risk across product, service, and client engagement touchpoints, ensuring compliance and sustainable growth.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in personal and private banking, with a strong focus on affluent client segments.
• Proven track record in developing and enabling client-centric value propositions.
• Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, open banking frameworks, and platform integration strategies.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate strategy into actionable outcomes.
• Skilled in customer insight, risk identification and reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership in navigating change, empowering teams, and fostering inclusive client relationships.
