BIA Group is seeking a dynamic Parts Sales Support Representative (PSSR) to join its mining division in Zambia. This permanent role is ideal for a technically inclined sales professional who thrives on building long-term client relationships and driving growth through proactive service and strategic support. As part of a globally active team, the PSSR will play a key role in connecting customer needs with tailored equipment solutions, spare parts, and smartfleet services.
Main Responsibilities
• Foster strong, service-driven relationships with mining clients, offering expert advice and anticipating operational needs
• Monitor customer fleets and usage patterns to recommend consumables, components, and service contracts
• Develop and execute sales action plans across a defined territory, leveraging tools like SMARTFLEET, WAI, and UMS
• Maintain accurate CRM records, produce detailed visit reports, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Conduct market intelligence to stay ahead of competitor offerings and share insights across teams
• Support inventory management for clients and follow up on quality issues or complaints through structured company procedures
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum Bac+2 technical education with a strong commercial orientation
• At least 5 years’ experience in a technico-commercial role, preferably in mining or heavy equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch, depending on territory
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset
