Overview
The Core Network Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and operational excellence of the company's core network infrastructure. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and managing the end-to-end network architecture to guarantee high-quality service, aligning with company strategy and regulatory compliance.


Main Responsibilities
Performance Management: Monitor and analyse the performance of core network equipment to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
Architectural Control: Manage and control the end-to-end network architecture and service designs.
Service Quality: Maintain and ensure a high quality of service (QoS) for all network operations.
Compliance and Strategy: Adhere to company goals, strategic objectives, and regulatory standards.


Required Qualifications and Skills
Education: A degree in Telecommunications, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Professional Registration: Must be registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in the telecommunications industry is essential.
Technical Skills: Proven knowledge and practical experience with Core Network workflows and practices, including Circuit Switched Core, Packet Switch Core, and Evolved Packet Core.
