Overview
The Functional Analyst – eChannels is responsible for providing end-user support and resolving issues across all applications, with a specific focus on the NAPSA core application system. This role plays a critical part in system development, ensuring that new applications and enhancements meet business needs and align with technical requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in IT and a commitment to maintaining system efficiency and quality.

Main Responsibilities
• Provide end-user support and resolve issues in various applications, while also assisting with system upgrades and enhancements.
• Analyze system development requirements in collaboration with business users to ensure the final product is responsive to business needs.
• Participate in the system development and testing phases, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Facilitate handovers from external consultants to ensure successful system implementation and business efficiency.
• Conduct development for in-house changes and complete system unit tests, providing sign-off to the testing team.


Required Qualifications and Skills
Education and Certification: A Grade 12 Certificate with five 'O' levels, including credits in Mathematics and English. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field. Must be a member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ) with a valid practicing license.
Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant IT experience at a similar level in an organization of comparable size.
Technical Skills: Experience with software development lifecycles and a strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working with both technical and business teams.
