Overview
The Legal Clerk - Contracts will provide essential administrative and logistical support to the legal team. This role is responsible for managing legal documents, maintaining records, and ensuring the efficient flow of information and correspondence. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of legal administrative procedures.

Main Responsibilities
• Manage all legal correspondence by receiving, registering, and distributing documents to internal and external clients.
• Prepare and assemble routine legal documents, including cover letters and contract schedules.
• Lodge, register, and retrieve legal documents from various registries like PACRA and the Ministry of Lands.
• Maintain a secure and organized filing system for all legal and contract-related documents, both in hard copy and electronically.
• Assist with departmental requisitions and help manage expenses to stay within the allocated budget.


Required Qualifications and Skills
Education: A Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits, including English and Mathematics. A minimum of a Diploma in Law is required.
Experience: Not less than one year of experience providing legal clerical duties in a reputable organization or law firm.
Attributes: Strong organizational and record-management skills, with a keen attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple tasks, conduct research, and work effectively as part of a team.
