Overview
Vivo Energy Zambia is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to oversee retailer relationships, drive sales growth, and ensure operational excellence across designated sites. The role is focused on achieving sales targets, enhancing site profitability, supporting retailer development, and embedding strong health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead sales and operational performance within the assigned territory, delivering revenue and profitability targets.
• Build strong relationships with Retailers, coaching and motivating them to maximize business potential and uphold customer service standards.
• Monitor contract compliance and site performance through structured reviews and improvement plans.
• Guide Retailers in financial management, analyzing P&L statements and closing performance gaps.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and capability development for Retailers and their staff.
• Champion HSSE standards, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements across all sites.
• Execute site visits, call planning, and implement marketing and network initiatives to strengthen customer experience and market presence.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in sales, marketing, or retail business development.
• Strong commercial acumen with problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop business partners or teams.
• Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer engagement.
• Valid manual driver’s license.
