Overview
The People Business Partner is responsible for driving the HR agenda and implementing the integrated capability strategy for a specific Business Unit. This role focuses on optimizing organizational design, managing talent, and enhancing employee engagement. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted coach and partner to line managers, ensuring HR initiatives are aligned with business goals and add significant value to the function.
Main Responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic partner and coach to business leaders, providing guidance and support on people-related issues to achieve business objectives.
• Develop a deep understanding of business operations and performance metrics to deliver effective and value-added HR programs and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with functional teams to influence decision-making and provide confidential advice.
• Implement and critically review HR policies and practices, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
• Coordinate the execution of HR services, policies, and programs, providing feedback to specialists on their effectiveness.
• Manage people-related costs, ensuring alignment with the budget and adherence to excellence programs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Education and Experience: A university degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in coaching, managing a team, and handling budgets.
• Competencies: Strong business and commercial acumen with a customer-centric approach. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence outcomes, and solve problems pragmatically.
• Personal Attributes: Exceptional communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills. Must be dynamic, enthusiastic, and resilient, with a professional attitude and a bias for action.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with a wide range of HR disciplines, including talent management, recruitment, performance management, and organizational development. The ability to work independently and exercise initiative.
