Konkola Copper Mines Plc (KCM Plc), a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Limited, is one of the biggest copper producers in Zambia. It operates mines and processing plants located in four districts namely Chingola, Chililabombwe, Kitwe and Nampundwe. With an investment pledge of over $1 billion by Vedanta, KCM envisages to unlock key operations such as the Konkola Deep Mining Project (KDMP) in Chililabombwe and increase production to 300,000 tons of copper per year by 2030. To support this vision KCM would like to recruit experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions at Konkola Copper Mines Trust Schools.

1. 4 X PRIMARY CLASS TEACHERS
Main roles & responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students from Reception to Grade 7.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ academic and social development.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support, offer a variety of both indoor and outdoor activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Stay updated on educational trends and participate in professional development opportunities (CPDs)

Requirements:
• Grade 12 school certificate
• Bachelor’s degree/Teachers Diploma in Primary Education
• Full registration with TCZ licensure
• Minimum (3) years’ working experience
• Excellent oral & written skills
• Computer Literate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
