PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Essential Functions:
Responsible for maintaining a positive image for their organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Media Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with media personnel and writing press releases.
• Publicity Events: Organizing events to generate positive publicity and managing communication initiatives.
• Image Management: Creating and distributing content that communicates the organization’s programs and accomplishments.
• Monitoring Trends: Keeping track of important news stories and trends that may affect the organization.

Required skills
• Excellent Communication: Strong writing and speaking skills are essential for conveying messages clearly and persuasively.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that contribute to the organization’s goals.
• Creativity: Innovative ideas for campaigns and events to engage audiences effectively.

Education/Experience:
• BSc degree in Public Administration or relevant field
• Master’s Degree-will be an Added Advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel

Preferred:
• Minimum of 5 years and above experience preferably in Public Administration
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to travel country-wide when required

Physical Exam Required: Police Clearance
