VACANCY : Key Account Manager
LEVEL : Assistant Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To effectively manage key business accounts, through selling, nurturing and growing the said accounts as per area of segmentation. Maximize direct and indirect revenue through the supervision of Sales Representatives.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
• • Ensure Growth of portfolio through building client relationships and service coverage
• • Build through available applications customer databases with critical information
• • Ensure portfolio productivity
• • Work in close collaboration with key stakeholders across functions to deliver value to clients
• • Build full understanding of portfolio wallet share, market share, product penetration and revenue market share
• • Keep relevant stakeholders informed of sales problems and production status.
• • Relationship management and retention by contacting and visiting old and prospective customers to determine needs.
• • Maintaining sales records and preparing sales reports as required
• • Ensuring a minimum of 80% product penetration with clients through visits that will alert them to new or improved products/services.
• • Management of subs market share within these corporates through corporate mining
• • Churn Management
• • Increase revenue through various strategies such as managing usage and retention activities with the large Corporates/organizations
• • Effectively manage very large business accounts with full accountability for product cross-sell, collections, and account management
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:
• • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, ICT
• • Strength in Finance for non Finance Managers and / or basic accounting knowledge
Relevant Experience:
• • 5 years experience in Account Management practice or B2B sales environment
• • 6 – 8 years experience in a customer facing role
• • Excellent knowledge of ISP products within a product family policies and practices
• • High personal standards and goal oriented
• • Excellent presentation skills
• • Strong Self-Starter and motivated
• • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POST
• • Ability to work and deliver under pressure and squeezed timelines.
• • Good interpersonal skills
• • Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
• • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually
• • Ability to build strong relationships in a matrix environment
