Reading Specialist Wanted for Arise Africa Schools
Are you passionate about fostering a love for reading and supporting students in their literacy journey? Our vibrant organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Specialist to help our students develop strong reading skills and succeed academically. If you’re enthusiastic about making a difference in children’s lives, we’d love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized reading instruction and support to students at various grade levels.
• Assess students’ reading abilities and create tailored intervention plans.
• Expert in literacy, Phonics and letter land
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to track student progress and implement effective strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Stay current with best practices in literacy instruction and contribute ideas to enhance school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in education preferably literacy or similar qualification
• Certification in Reading or Literacy Education (professional)
• Experience working with diverse student populations, especially in a community set up
• Strong knowledge of phonics, Letter land, comprehension strategies, and assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for inspiring and empowering young learners.
