Department: Supply Chain Services – Procurement

Location: Mine Site

Reports to: Manager Procurement

Job Purpose:

• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials by monitoring and expediting purchase orders, maintaining effective communication with suppliers, and minimizing delays that could affect mine operations.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Education:

• Grade 12 Certificate (minimum)
• Industry certifications preferred (e.g., APICS, CIPS)
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, supply chain, or operations management is a distinct advantage
• ZQA certification will be required before appointment

• Experience & Skills:

• At least 2 years of production/scheduling experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, PRONTO)
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
