DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Warranty Administrator to join our team specializing in Service for our Kitwe Service Department in Kitwe, Zambia.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Efficient Data Management: Accurately process warranty-related information in databases, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Timely Responses: Respond promptly to requests, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Due Diligence: Perform thorough checks before updating information, minimizing errors and ensuring compliance.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage effectively with stakeholders to gather necessary information, fostering collaboration and trust.
• Problem Solving: Address warranty-related issues proactively, contributing to smoother operations and customer satisfaction.
• Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to warranty processing procedures, driving operational excellence.
• Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers, helping to resolve their warranty concerns and enhancing their experience.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, sharing insights and best practices to improve overall performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Warranty Process Expertise: Analyze customer issues to verify the root cause of failure and associated progressive damage using published service information. Interpret the warranty administration manual to determine eligibility for coverage and claim requirements.
• Claim Filing: Identify items associated with repair that can be covered under warranty. Communicate these findings to stakeholders and file claims in the appropriate system using proper documentation to ensure accurate settlement.
• Electronic Service Tool Application: Utilize the suite of available hardware and software tools to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Interpret electronic tool results to determine next steps for service resolution.
• Problem Solving: Implement robust, data-based solutions to address warranty-related problems. Ensure actions to prevent problem recurrence are taken, leveraging industry-standard methodologies for systematic analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
